Lewiston, ME — The Maine Campground
Owners Association (MECOA) has partnered with Friend Communications
Inc. to offer member parks cutting-edge technology including
online, real-time reservations. Agreement was reached at the
end of March, with the system being implemented within
a month.
"Technologically, Friend is ahead of anything else we found and
they offer a very comprehensive package," said MECOA Executive Director,
Jeff Rowe. "Benefits include the fact that Friend understands the
campground industry and their system is very user-friendly."
The Friend system offers online reservations for consumers, as well
as Web-based front office management tools and dynamic widespread
marketing initiatives for each member's business. "The package as
a whole will help us market our members more proactively," Rowe
explained.
