Leisure Marketing Group Launches Camping.com Consumer Site

Las Vegas, NV - Leisure Holding Inc. announces the formation of Leisure Marketing Group Inc. to provide brand and business development services to the campground and outdoor recreation industries. The new company, headed by President and COO Bob Jordan, recently entered into an agreement with Nettcorp Inc. to develop and manage the camping.com Web site. The redesigned camping.com Web site is intended to provide a one-stop Internet access point for camping-related information, products and services.

"This new group will be completely consumer focused and will provide a mixture of interactive and traditional marketing services for its clients," said Gary Pace, President and CEO of Leisure Holding. "Its mission is to motivate and enable consumers to buy now on the Internet, providing revenue growth for its clients and business partners."

According to Jordan, Leisure Marketing Group is working very hard to build the camping.com brand, rapidly moving from idea to activation. "Our objective is to build camping.com into the Yahoo!® of camping. Initially, it will provide consumers with online campsite reservations, shopping and destination information in a single Web site location," Jordan remarked. "Many of these elements exist today in the outdoor industry, but they are fragmented across multiple Web sites. We want to create a portal where various industry participants are able to work together in providing seamless access to products and services, thereby maximizing the camping experience."

In a related announcement, Friend Communications Inc. recently formed an alliance with Leisure Marketing to provide technical infrastructure, including online reservations, to camping.com. "The relationship with Friend provides immediate value to the redesigned Web site by allowing online campers to search for camping destinations and secure immediate online reservations," Jordan added.
